MANAGEMENT

Kimberly Forsythe

Kimberly Forsythe, President

  • 1987 B.A. Mathematics, University of Virginia – College of Arts and Sciences -Charlottesville, VA, USA
  • 1989 M.S. Systems Engineering, University of Virginia – School of Engineering and Applied Sciences
  • 1990~ based in Japan:
    • Narrator, on-camera presenter, voice actress, DJ for TV news programs, corporate PR videos, TV and radio commercials, video games, animations, educational videos and CDs.
    • Author for university-level English texts and corresponding tape/video scripts for Sanshusha Publishing
    • Author/interviewer for educational publications including ALC Press, TOEIC Friends, and NHK
    • Co-Author and performer for children’s musical play “Let’s Go Eigo”, an interactive, educational play for Japanese elementary and junior high students.
  • 2006 Co-founded the Tyler Foundation with husband, Mark Ferris.

Mark Ferris

Mark Ferris, Vice President

  • 1989 received law degree from the University of Natal, South Africa, and began practicing commercial law
  • 1993 Relocated to Japan and worked in Japanese law firm
  • 1994 Founds and builds several companies serving foreign multi-nationals in Japan through various consulting services.
  • 2006 Mark Ferris and Kimberly Forsythe co-found the Tyler Foundation.
  • 2007 Ascendant Business Solutions KK is created from merger of two of Mark’s earlier companies to offer foreign multi-nationals services including outsourcing, consulting and technology.
  • 2008~ Mark serves as Chairman of Ascendant Business Solutions KK. He is also active in the American Chamber of Commerce, Japan Market Entry Competition, the Tokyo American Club.
