  • About Be Yoga Japan

    Established by Kumiko Mack in 2001 as Japan's first ISHTA yoga school, Be Yoga Japan offers daily Hatha yoga classes, a 200-hour ISHTA teacher-training program and workshops throughout the year. English and Japanese studio classes are taught each day. We take an integrated approach to the teaching of yoga. Our classes focus on safe alignment and linking movement to breath, and pranayama and meditation instruction are taught in each class. As ISHTA philosophy is based on helping students develop an individual approach to yoga, Be Yoga encourages our students to discover their own path at their own pace. Safely. Mindfully. Enjoyably.
