Summer is here, and many of you are about to depart for summer holiday, but there are a few items we’d like to run by you before you go! Below we share our latest Programs News

The rainy season is upon us, but the programs and activities of the Tyler Foundation bring sunshine despite the weather! We have been extremely busy and know that the smiles you read about in this edition of the newsletter will help you Shine On! even though we are shrouded with gray, misty skies.

Every year April brings to Japan a sense of renewal with the bursting of the cherry blossoms and it has never been more appropriate than this year. Sakura, by nature, is beautiful yet fleeting, but the warmth of the sun, smiles, and fun-filled days and nights remain as the Tyler Foundation also bursts with activities this month!

Whether directly affected by the devastating earthquake and tsunami or not, we have all felt the grave severity of the situation. Many of us are looking for ways to help and ways to smile. This month we offer both.

February features blustery wind, snow, and cold, gray days. February at the Tyler Foundation features lots of warmth, fun, challenges, lights, camera and action.

The lights on the Tokyo Tower read “2011” and we, like you, are all welcoming a new year at the Tyler Foundation. We are looking forward to a brand new year of expanded programs and events and hope you are too!
