Ken-san has proved to be an invaluable asset to the Smile Ambassador program. His belief in the power of the program drives him to open more opportunities for us. His name and personal reputation has opened doors that were previously closed and he has given us credibility with the local population. Ken-san has introduced us to dozens of schools and daycare centers enabling us to interact with thousands of kids.

On October 31st, the Tokyo based non-profit organization, the Tyler Foundation, supporting children in the earthquake and tsunami-affected areas, delivered a charity CD album, ‘Shine On! Songs Volume One‘ to Sakari Elementary School in Ofunato.

We are sure that the challenges up north will continue to test our creativity and will, but they only inspire us to try harder!

August was a very busy and productive month for the Tyler Foundation’s Shine On! Smile Ambassador Program. Moshe Cohen from Clowns Without Boarders was our guest for 3 amazing and intense weeks.

On August 30, the Tyler Foundation held a free hoop-making workshop. Participants made hoops that will be donated to the kids in Tohoku through the Tyler Foundation’s Shine On! Smile Ambassador Program.
