Joseph Nixon will run in the Tokyo Shine On! Marathon Challenge 2012 on February 26 (Sunday) to raise money for the Tyler Foundation’s Beads of Courage Program, which helps children to record, tell, and own their stories of courage during their cancer treatment.

Ken-san has proved to be an invaluable asset to the Smile Ambassador program. His belief in the power of the program drives him to open more opportunities for us. His name and personal reputation has opened doors that were previously closed and he has given us credibility with the local population. Ken-san has introduced us to dozens of schools and daycare centers enabling us to interact with thousands of kids.

Phil Robertson ran the Jubilo Memorial Marathon (21 km) on November 13th to raise money for the Shine On! Tohoku Childrens’ Support Program.

He has raised ¥437,500 raised in pledges so far!
