Brechtje Zoet-Viasus, a talented designer who has worked with the Tyler Foundation since the very beginning, creating beautiful designs for our logo, branding identity, first website, various posters, brochures, flyers — and many other miscellaneous items that we asked her for at the last minute! Her work has been well-received by both the international community and our Japanese supporters alike.

In our April newsletter we reported that we would begin receiving contributions from Japanese bead artists, and since that time, nearly everyday beads have reached our office, contributed by a huge number of bead artists!

Paul Wallace will be one of the celebrity speakers at our Shine On! Rugby World Cup Charity Dinner & Auction to be held on July 1st, 2011. Paul is a former Irish rugby union player who played tight head prop for Ireland and the British and Irish Lions. Paul currently works for Sky Sports as a rugby pundit and is also a contributor to the Daily Mail and Rugby World magazine as well as Today FM’s The Last Word. Wallace was once regarded as the world’s best tight-head prop.

Stu Wilson will be one of the celebrity speakers at our Shine On! Rugby World Cup Charity Dinner & Auction to be held on July 1st, 2011. He played with the All Blacks as a wing from 1976 to 1983, scoring over 100 tries (including non-test tries), and captaining the team for two tests on a tour of England and Scotland in 1983. After retiring from playing, Wilson became a rugby commentator.

Stephen Larkham will be one of the celebrity speakers at our Shine On! Rugby World Cup Charity Dinner & Auction to be held on July 1st, 2011. He is an Australian rugby union footballer currently playing for the Ricoh Black Rams in Japan.

Justin Sampson, a world-famous Emcee, Auctioneer and Rugby Commentator, volunteered for the 2006 Sports Extravaganza Celebrity Dinner gala fundraising event. We are pleased to announce that he is back to serve as the MC for our Shine On! Rugby World Cup Charity Dinner & Auction to be held on July 1st, 2011.

Eddie Jones will be one of the celebrity speakers at our Shine On! Rugby World Cup Charity Dinner & Auction to be held on July 1st, 2011.

John Kirwan is a New Zealand rugby legend and is the current head coach of the Japan national rugby team. Kirwan, played at wing 96 times (including 63 test matches) as an All Black from 1984 until 1994 and is current record holder for 67 tries in all matches for the All Blacks.

Justin Sampson is Director, Advertising Sales (South-east Asia) for ESPN STAR Sports for almost 7 years now. Responsible for Australia, Malaysia and Middle East based clients and regional clients based in Singapore, Sampson is constantly advising clients and agencies on on-air sponsorship and on-ground events.
