ABC International School’s Kindness Committee held a Charity Auction Party supporting the Tyler Foundation on February 26th at Rainbow Roll Sushi in Nishi Azabu......and they raised just under 5 million yen!  Yee Hah!

This event was for a very specific project － to create a toy and comic library and welcoming waiting rooms for families and siblings of hospitalized children at the National Center for Child Health and Development in Setagaya-ku.

Children under 12 are not permitted in the actual hospital wards, so siblings must often wait for hours in these small waiting rooms. At present, the waiting rooms are rather sparse and unfriendly.  But thanks to the hard work of the team at ABC － that will surely change!

The cover of Tokyo Families Magazine was a particularly big auction item, which actually turned into TWO auction items! Thank you again to Carin Smolinski for her generous donations!
