Shine On! Choshi Triathlon Race 2009
Join the Nomura Team!!
While you’re reading the Sunday papers with a nice cup of tea, a team of seven Nomura boys is taking on the Herculean task of the Choshi Triathlon, in Chiba, Japan: a 1.5km ocean swim (60 lengths of your local 25m pool), a 40km bike ride, a 10km run, not to mention the acres of spandex, meters of rubber and litres of leg wax involved. The team, whose ages range from the twenties to forties, has been training hard for four months, with a mix of first timers and experienced racers. Some have super-ambitious target times of 2hrs 10mins, while some simply want to finish in one piece.
The good news is that you, too, can participate. The team is proud to support the Tyler foundation, which is making a huge difference for children with cancer in Japan and their families. Please dig deep into those pockets, before settling back to the sports section of that paper.
Thank you in advance for your support!
This is a great honor for Tyler Foundation and we are very pleased to have such a great supporters!!
