The Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon - Fundraising Opportunity for the Tyler Foundation
Mj and John, friends of Mark, Kim and Natalie, are running the Twin Cities Marathon in Minneapolis, USA on October 4. This will be Mj's first ever attempt at a marathon, while John has run a few.
Message from Mj and John;
"We continue to be inspired by Tyler's courage as he battled for 23 months with infant acute lymphoblastic leukemia. We will hold his memory dear during the 42.2km of the marathon and we hope many of you will join us in pledging support for our fundraising efforts for the Tyler Foundation. We are off to a great start with our sponsorship drive due to the generosity of Cris Stevens, who donated $500 upon hearing of Tyler and the link with our marathon challenge.

Thank you for your generous pledges. Mj and I finished the marathon together in a very respectable 4hrs 22min. Mj was brilliant in her first attempt at the distance and did not stop once! Collectively, we managed to raise over $1700 for the Tyler Foundation - a superb effort and very heartwarming to witness your kindness and receive your words of encouragement. The picture was taken at mile 9.....cool day, with temperatures ranging from low 40's to upper 50's - ideal for the marathon. Watch this space for our next sporting challenge!
