Marathon – 7 hours (25,000 runners)
Doubled as 92nd National Men's Marathon Championship, doubled as Olympic Trials for Japanese Men's Marathon, Women's, Men's Wheelchair, Women's Wheelchair
The Course: Tokyo Metropolitan Government -- Iidabashi -- Imperial Palace -- Hibiya -- Shinagawa -- Ginza -- Nihombashi -- Asakusa Kaminari-mon Gate -- Tsukiji -- Ariake (Toyosu) – Tokyo Big Sight
10km Race – 1 hour 40 minutes (5,000 runners)
Men's, Women's, Men's Wheelchair, Women's Wheelchair
(Note: Records will not be approved by the IAAF for not complying with the IAAF rules.)
The Course: Tokyo Metropolitan Government -- Iidabashi -- Imperial Palace -- Hibiya Park
(i) The time limit will be set up according to the signal gun.
(ii) The close-gate time will be set up at each checkpoint due to traffic regulations and secure operation of the competition. Those runners, who fail to pass through the checkpoint with in the given time, will be disqualified from the race.
