Mark Ferris

Having grown up in Zimbabwe and South Africa, Mark practiced law before coming to Japan in 1993. He has had an entrepreneurial career and is a founding partner of private equity group in Tokyo. That leaves some time for squash, cricket, musical composition and spending time with his family.

Kimberly Forsythe

Kim completed her master’s degree in systems engineering at the University of Virginia before moving to Tokyo in 1990 and becoming a professional voice over. But as head of The Tyler Foundation, she feels she has finally found what she was meant to do when she grows up! When she’s not doing charity work, speaking into a microphone or being a mom to her 5-yr-old daughter, she can be found singing, cooking or traveling. Oh, and thanks to her husband Mark, she now knows that cricket is the name of a sport in addition to being a noisy summer bug!

Anton McCloy

A New Zealand native, Anton came to Japan in 1996 after teaching high school there. After gaining experience teaching English to different age-groups he opened his own English conversation school in Fuji City.  He still has enough spare time to cut the grass at the local cricket ground as well as umpire the occasional cricket match.
